Anytime

The most expensive fare option, allows you to purchase on the travel day itself or book up to 12 weeks in advance. There are no time or route restrictions - you have the total freedom to board any train you want whenever you want. Available for single trip tickets (valid for 2 days) and return-trip tickets (valid for up to 30 days).

Advance

The least expensive fare option, allows you to book up to 12 weeks in advance for travel on a specific date, time and train. Valid in First or Second Class, your seat reservation is guaranteed. No ticket exchanges or refunds allowed. These tickets are available in limited numbers.

Off-Peak

A value-priced fare option, allows you to travel for less during off-peak times. Peak hours vary for each train operator but are usually before 9:30 and between 16:00 and 19:00. Purchase on the day of travel itself or book up to 12 weeks in advance. Available for single and return-trip tickets in First Class only. Valid for 30 days.
Ticket Classes

Standard Class

Standard class railcars provide comfortable, quality seating; particularly beneficial for long trips. Passengers have the option of reserving a specific seat on the train when booking their ticket. Also, priority seating is readily accessible for the elderly and disabled travelers in all railcars.

First Class

First class railcars are equipped with roomier, reclining seats that offer more leg and elbow room. Passengers can enjoy the complimentary at-seat food and drink service and a free morning newspaper.

Seat reservations

Exceptions where the seat may not be reserved at the time of booking include shorter journeys that don’t offer seat reservations or when the allocation of reservable seats is fully booked. In either case, your ticket is still valid and you can sit in any vacant seat.
