The Swiss Travel Pass is valid for travel from 3 to 15 consecutive days of travel. You can also select a Swiss Travel Pass Flexi, valid for travel on 3, 4, 8 or 15 days within a period of 30 days.
You can use the Swiss Travel Pass on the Swiss Travel System which includes trains, buses and boats. As a passholder, you are granted a discount on most scenic mountain trains and cable cars. The Swiss Travel Pass is also valid on the public transport networks of 90 towns and cities in Switzerland and includes access to museums in Switzerland.
Anyone can purchase a Swiss Travel Pass except permanent residents of Switzerland or Liechtenstein.

By selecting the first day of use at the time of booking, this pass is pre-validated.
For Flexible passes, you must enter the date of travel in the corresponding box on the pass before boarding the first train of the day.
For the purpose of determining the period of validity, the first day of validity counts as an entire day. The Swiss Travel Pass is valid from 12:00 a.m. of the first day of validity until 5:00 a.m. of the day following the last day of validity.

A seat reservation and/or supplement is required to travel on some trains/buses/boats such as the Glacier Express, Gotthard Panorama Express and Palm Express.
