For those travelling with a rail pass in the United Kingdom this holiday season, please check National Rail for any train disruptions during your travels as there will be no service on Christmas Day (December 25) and limited service on New Years Day (January 1).

ScotRail Passes can be purchased by anyone including residents of the UK.
M-Pass must be activated within 3 months of the date of purchase for UK residents and 11 months for International guests to the UK.
Travel is valid Monday to Friday on trains departing after 0915 and on any service at the weekend.
Once you’ve activated your M-Pass, you’ll receive another email with the pass attached as a PDF file.
Before you travel, download this M-Pass directly to your mobile phone. You will need to show the M-Pass on your phone to station and on-train staff on request. Printouts are not accepted. You must also show a valid photo ID.
A seat reservation is optional but recommended in order to guarantee a seat on a specific train and time. Reservations can be made up to 12 weeks in advance. Reserve a seat.
