Jungfrau Travel Pass

Valid for travel between May 6 and October 22

The Jungfrau Region lies in the heart of Switzerland, offering ideal hiking holidays amongst sensational views and natural wonders of the Swiss Alps Jungfrau-Aletsch UNESCO World Heritage site. Available for 3 to 6 consecutive days of travel on the Jungfrau Railways network listed below. The pass for 5 and 6 days includes the Interlaken Ost – Interlaken West train journey and the boat trip on Lake Thun and Lake Brienz.

Jungfraujoch-Top of Europe Voucher

Valid together with the Jungfrau Travel Pass.

Nicknamed the Top of Europe, Jungfraujoch offers unspoiled views of the alps at an altitude of 3,454 m. This voucher is valid for one connecting ticket of Eigergletscher – Junfraujoch-Top of Europe return trip valid together with the Jungfrau Travel pass (must be shown on spot). Please exchange this voucher on site at a railway station of Jungfrau railways before departure.

Jungfrau Hiking and Sledging Pass

Valid for travel between December 17 and April 17

The Jungfrau Region is not only great in winter for skiing but it also offers well-groomed hiking trails and sledging runs (known to some as tobogganing). Available for 2 to 7 days on the Jungfrau Railways network listed below, this is the winter version of the Jungfrau Pass that includes (nearly) unlimited hiking and sledging, while surrounded by the beautiful Jungfrau glacier world.

Jungfrau Railway: Kleine Scheidegg – Eigergletscher 
Lauterbrunnen-Mürren railway: Lauterbrunnen – Grütschalp – Mürren
Harder Railway: Interlaken – Harder Kulm
First Railway: Grindelwald – First
Gondola cableway: Grindelwald – Männlichen (from 28 May 2016)
Aerial cableway: Wengen – Männlichen (from 21 May 2016)
Local bus: – Grindelwald – Grosse Scheidegg (from 21 May 2016)
Local bus: Grindelwald – Bussalp (from 21 May 2016)
Local bus: Grindelwald – Waldspitz (from 11 June to 16 October 2016)

Jungfrau Hiking and Sledging Pass 2-7 days valid routes

Grindelwald / Lauterbrunnen – Kleine Scheidegg – Eiger Glacier 
(not valid after 5.47 PM for the Eiger Run cosy evening sledging. With the hiking and sledging pass you get a discounted evening ticket for CHF 16, instead of CHF 26)

Available for the hiking and sledging pass starting at 3 days, travelers receive a 50% discount on a connecting ticket for Mürren – Schilthorn Piz Gloria.

Eligibility

Jungfrau Passes can be purchased by anyone including residents of Switzerland.

Pre-booking time

6 months.

Discounts

Children 6-15

Children between the ages of 6 and 15 pay a reduced rate. Children under 6 travel free.

Passholders

Travelers with a valid Swiss Travel Pass or Half Fare Card receive a discount on the Jungfrau Travel Pass.

Additional Details

These passes are seasonal so depending on your travel date, select either the Jungfrau Travel Pass for summer travel or the Jungfrau Hiking and Sledging Pass for winter travel.

You receive a voucher to exchange at any departure station of Jungfrau Railways.

Jungfrau Passes are available in Standard Class only.
