A five days flexible pass to discover East Japan by train

You can now get your hands on the new JR East Flexi Pass, valid for any 5 days of rail travel within a period of 14 days. Released on July 1st, the pass allows you to travel at your pace from one destination to the next. Make the most out of your stay, as you now get a convenient way to see some of Japan’s top attractions including Tokyo’s various shopping districts, the venerable Mt. Fuji or the Shiga Kogen ski resort located near Nagano, amongst many other locations.

Ride the popular Shinkansen “bullet trains” with the JR East Flexi Pass! Japan’s fast trains offer not only speed, but comfort and frequent service as well. Additionally, the JR East Flexi Pass now includes access to the Tokyo Waterfront Area Rapid Transit’s Rinkai Line, connecting Tokyo to the islands of Aomi and Odaiba.

The pass also covers the Express and Local trains on JR East lines (including the bus rapid transit), the Izu-Kyuko line, the Hokuetsu-Kyuko line, the Aoimori Railway line and the Iwate Galaxy Railway line as well as the limited express “Nikko”, “Spacia Nikko”, “Kinugawa” and “Spacia Kinugawa”.

The JR East Flexi Pass is an e-ticket available for adults and children visiting from abroad (non-japanese nationals) who enter under the status of “temporary visitor”.
