I’m going to buy a standard class 3 days in 2 months britrail pass at the senior rate. If I wait to do so after March 15 will I get the extra day free? How long does it take to ship the pass to me, please? Bonnie Thurston

The extra day offer on the BritRail Pass is a promotion that varies from year to year. If you purchase your pass after March 15, you will not get an extra day. At this time, the promotion is not scheduled to run in March. Your order is usually received within 2-5 days in the United States, Canada and other markets. Like Bonnie I was delaying buying the BritRail pass until March 15 because I thought that I would receive a bonus day. On re reading the Popular Post regararding the extra day I see that this expired last year. Therefore this should be taken off as it is out of date.
Are there any plans to reintroduce this special offer this year. I remember it being offered when I travelled to the UK in 2011.
